I have been teaching and assessing all levels of First Aid for over twenty years to schools, industry, the MoD and other organisations. I spent ten years as a paramedic with Hampshire Ambulance Service and later joined the Ministry of Defence as a Specialist Instructor in the Battlefield Casualty Drills Training Team.
During my time with the MoD I trained circa 10,000 personnel. I was proud to be awarded a Ministry of Defence certificate of Commendation for ensuring that Army personnel were trained and prepared in the management and treatment of major trauma casualties in the Middle East.
I am qualified and authorised by Qualsafe Awards to deliver and assess many types of First Aid courses from Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification to First Aid at Work including Catastrophic Bleeding. Qualsafe Awards is one of the largest Ofqual recognised Awarding Organisations in the UK, shortlisted for the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) Awarding Organisation of the Year Award in both 2015 & 2016.
I am a member of the Association of Healthcare Trainers (AoHT) and hold a current Disclosure and Barring Service, Enhanced Certificate.
If you can provide the location, I am able to provide all necessary kit and equipment required to deliver said courses, culminating in a nationally recognised First Aid qualification.
